Exactly he's got the length and can shoot from distance. Just throw him out there once in a while. But if he's hurt then no.

idk if it's the same ankle re-injured or what but he played a couple spot minutes vs the Grizz and then was out for the GS series, and out now too. He either didn't travel with them, or wasn't cleared for Monday's practice one, and I'm guessing if he makes it back maybe game 3?

I think Denver will start off with just a minor adjustment, but have a plan B in their backpocket if needed.

The minor adjustment is what others have said, have Gordon on the perimeter setting some dummy screens.

In conjunction with that I expect Jokic to aggressively look for his shot when matched up with Rui. There were two quick turnovers he made because he was looking to distribute and AD was playing the role of a robber. He didn't commit to staying on Gordon but he also didn't commit to helping on Jokic, he was playing the passing lanes. I think it caught Jokic off guard, but next game I look for him to back down Rui and force AD to commit one way or the other.

Plan B would involve rotation changes but I wouldn't jump straight to that.
