So the Knicks sign a bazillion forwards instead of pursuing D'Angelo Russell in free agency only to turn around months later looking to offer assets in a trade to get him. Do I have that right?

Re: 2020 NBA Trade Deadline

This is the Knicks we’re talking about here, so it’s gonna be the worst possible outcome.

They’re probably gonna trade either Morris or Randle then max who ever stays.

Re: 2020 NBA Trade Deadline

Makes sense for Golden State if they get that pick, if not I would not do that trade if I were them. If they have two top 10 picks heading into this off-season they could reload that roster into championship level form easily.. would be enough for someone to take that Dray contract, if they would trade him, and land a guy like Beal/Booker hell maybe even KAT.

Honestly Spellman and Paschall are playing well enough to fill his role some, they would lose his play-making but without the all world shooters even that is looking pretty average.

Monk should be a massive no IMO, I’d rather have the Knicks assets than Monk. Rozier’s contract is a no, Washington and Graham should be off-limits from the Hornets perspective.

I don’t get the Media’s infatuation with the Warriors trading Russell before seeing if he can actually play next to Steph or Klay.

No..you have it wrong.

D’Lo was a RFA. The only way for the Knicks to have acquired him would’ve been by a sign & trade.

Knicks had no assets to send over and more importantly there’s no way the Nets would’ve agreed to trade him to the Knicks.

Knicks were interested in Rozier last year. Also recent interest in Malik Monk.

The only logic here is to dump Randle’s contract in order to get a 1st from CHA.

All the Knicks talk is hot garbage to me. We have a buffoon calling around the league who has no idea how to build a roster. Happens every year.
