We are monitoring and fixing issues in this thread.
Thanks for your patience.
The upgrade is complete, but you've probably noticed the forums are only showing posts up to about April 8. Posts made after that are still in the process of being moved over, and that should take another week or two. Feel free to start a new thread.
The site might feel a little slow while work continues. Engineers are staying on it through the night to get things moving faster again. Thanks for your patience.
Minneapolis is the perfect blend of natural beauty and urban sophistication. No other American city has a chain of lakes, the mighty Mississippi, and 200 miles of walking, biking and cross country ski trails within the city limits literally steps from the most vibrant arts and music scene outside NYC, the best shopping in the region, and museums among the finest in the nation.
My favorite teams are better than your favorite teams
A radio station in Nashville had local restaurant employees call up and talk about his spending habits.
Dude spent 5k a week at the local Cheesecake Factory. Picking up the tab for teammates.
One day he dropped 6k at a TGI Friday's. LOL
I never wish money issues on people, but what a dummy.
Good. I'm glad he's broke. Guy had all the talent in the world and got a massive contract from the jump and WASTED both. He gets no pity whatsoever. So many people are busting their *** and this loser has God-given talent and just blows it all? Screw him.
Man, that Ray Lewis documentary was amazing! I've had every emotion known to man pulled out of me while watching it. Crazy...

Sure, but he has to learn that the stuff he calls dirty and unprofessional is going to happen in more games than not. Especially since he's a rookie. He isn't doing himself any favors whatsoever airing it all out in the media.
Exactly. All Griffin has done here is to announce to the entire league that extracuricular stuff gets under his skin. Definitely not smart.
Seen this in the Vikings-49ers thread posted by a Niners Fan and figured I post it here to get your thoughts:
Regarding San Fran's Front 7:
What do you think, OS?
If someone said after week 2 that the 2000 Ravens deserved to be in talks for the best D of all times nobody would pay them any mind. There's no way of telling if this is true or not right now. Sure, they've got potential to be.
How Vince Young blew through $26 million in six years.
New York Giants (8 NFL Championships-4 Superbowls ) New York Yankees (26 World Series Titles) New York Knicks (2 NBA Championships) Michigan Wolverines (11 National Championships) NewYork Rangers (4 Stanley Cups)

I was going to respond to that, but didn't want to derail that thread. At this point it is certainly in the conversation, but to say it's clearly the best in the last 6-7 years ignores some really good units. Baltimore comes to mind right off the bat.

Maybe the question could be who IS as of right now. And then we can think about how it's measured. It should be connected to wins (really good defenses that are considered great looking back usually win the SB... there are a lot of really good/great defenses we don't even remember bc they didn't win it all). Then do we factor in the offense? An offense that can allow the defense to rest or rarely have to overcome 3 and outs or large deficits can have a huge impact on how good a D is. How would we consider D's that were ranked high but had bad offenses too... shouldn't they be higher? And most importantly, great defenses have to be consistent over the course of the season and injuries can effect that... that's the main reason why this 9ers D don't even belong in the discussion yet.
