WOW!! what a game, now THIS is what the playoffs are all about. I don't know how far the Jags get, but mad props to them.

As far as the Chargers? yea I would be surprised if Staley, the OC and the DC is still employed tomorrow.

This was a meltdown of epic proportions....good luck rest of the way Jags.

I’m a Giants fan but I’m also a big Herbert fan so sucks to see him go out early. Just seemed like they had the lead and got comfortable then looked up and it was a ball game but by that time Staley was simply being out coached. Bring in Sean Payton and help Herbert reach his full potential.

That was a ballsy call for sure, but this is why I hate when coaches go for two too early. If he would have not gone for two earlier in the game where they didn’t convert, he wouldn’t have needed to try the second conversion

I'm re watching this game. I don't know what to say. Every call was the opposite of the first half.

I really wonder if Trevor called it himself to jump over or was it by design.

Staley was actually pretty conservative on 4th down calls from the Charger games I saw this year. I think he was stung by the backlash from the Week 18 Raiders game last year and changed his approach. He just got a good education on 4th down (and 2 point) aggression tonight.

Re: AFC Wild Card Round Discussion Thread

The Chargers might just make Staley take a bus back to LA.
