Cowboys at Redskins

Is this the most meaningful game on the schedule this week? Skins win and they're in the playoffs... they lose and the Vikings are in. You'd think the Boys will be resting some players in the game but this is also one of the biggest rivalries in the NFL so they'll still be up for a big game. You could say the Skins should've won the first game against Dallas this year but that was also with Sean Taylor. This game will definitely be without TO and may be without Newman. Glenn is supposed to play but with limited snaps. The Skins are without McIntosh which will really hurt the run D (run D looked great against MIN but that's b/c they have no passing game at all).

I think the Skins will take this one since its infinitely more important to them and the Cowboys are a different team without TO.

Should be a great game. Sucks that it's the same time as the Ravens/Steelers game.

Wade better not rest his starters or I'm going to burn his house down.

The Cowboys don't owe the Vikes a thing.

Re: Cowboys at Redskins

I don't think the Cowboys will rest their starters since T.O. is out and Romo's still trying to find his way with his thumb and all. They're going to need to know how they can function as an offense without T.O. and the best way to do that is to have all the personnel on the field. I have this weird feeling that Washington is going to pull this one out. I have to cheer for Todd Collins anyways since he was such a pro with the Bills back in the day.

Re: Cowboys at Redskins

well they may rest their starters, but Brad Johnson is still not a bad quarterback so he might come out gunslingin and mess up all the redskins plans

Re: Cowboys at Redskins

If I am not mistaken I read in a couple of football forums that Dallas is going to play it's starters and go for the win because they want the best regular season record in Cowboys history...Also read that they want to put the Skins away now and not give them confidence in case they have to meet them down the line in the playoffs..again this is footbal forum conjecture but there might be some validity to it..you never know

Re: Cowboys at Redskins

Redskins win 38-13

Skins beat the Seahawks in the first round, and will have a rematch in the Divisional game.
