I agree that Quinn is the future. If a team gives up a 1st and 3rd, Cleveland will have him on the first plane out of the city.
This is his first full year as a starter and your not impressed. Those two phenomenal talents also drop a lot of passes.

I say you move Quinn for whatever possible and keep Anderson. They are both close in age and Anderson has shown he can win.

Ken Dorsey is supposed to be a really good mentor for Quinn and Anderson. They keep him around to be a clipboard jockey and help both of them develop.

He is supposed to have a great relationship with Brady. Which could mean they go to leather bars together or something.

You won't get anything close to the value of what Quinn is worth.

This is the Drew Brees - Phillip Rivers thing all over again. Except Brees is really good and Anderson is just solid.

Quinn is Cleveland's future.
wait, correct me if i'm wrong but if a team signs DA to an offer sheet they have to give up a 1st and a 3rd to us? not like thats what Cleveland is demanding.

That is correct. That's the NFL rule on restricted free agents who receive the highest tender offer from their team.

Yeah, that's the rule.

I meant that I don't see any teams doing it, sorry.

This is also the first year the new Browns have had a real running back that can move the chains. It's also the first year they've had a healthy, quality offensive line. JJ's an underrated WR and I'd say it's the first year they've had 3 very good receiving options. I'm pretty sure it's the first year KW2 and Edwards had a full offseason to get prepared and are clearly both coming into their own.

It's NOT the first year that Anderson has started for the Browns. But if they want to believe he's the reason for the offensive turnaround rather than a benefactor they'd be making a big mistake. I doubt it'll happen but you'll see how he looks next year with a tougher schedule, or maybe even this year if they make the playoffs. Don't be fooled. He deserves a lot of credit for what he's done for the Browns but there's no guarantee that Frye couldn't have had them in the same place. They all played like crap in that first game against Pitt.
