so better stats means he's worse?

Cutler has better completion percentage and average yards per attempt. Plus he has less interceptions and a much higer qb raiting.

Its not because the broncos have been behind and playing a soft zone either.
Its simply because Cutler is a better quaterback then Rivers. His team is just not that good yet but the broncos are getting better and when they do improve Cutler will be killing in the NFL starting next season.

Next year will be his break out year like Palmers breakout year was in his 2nd season as a starter.

Ok homer whatever you say.

Stats mean nothing, and Rivers outplayed him both head to head but all season long. When Cutler does something and the Broncos beat someone let me know.

And they certainly did see a lot of soft coverage, it's not like it wasn't obvious. Cutlers got talent, but at this point he's not better than Rivers and he's not a Top 10 QB.

And Charger fans have nothing to be mad about when it comes to Denver, as Rivers and the Chargers have OWNED the Donkeys.

but wouldnt that mean cutler would throw more interceptions because he throws a lot more?

besides that has nothing to do with it since Cutler only threw the ball 7 more times but has 20 more completions

You would think huh? I think Favre is a great player and a sure Hall of Famer but I compared him with guys who have played anywhere from 24 to 187 games less then him. That doesn't mean the 3 guys I have ahead of him are going down as better QB's. Just right now they have been more consistant over their careers. I told you I wasn't just going by career stats because Favre has played alot of games and put up crazy numbers. But by taking an avg per game look he is below the other 3. All those INT's hurt his rating.
