This should help Hardy with his "Man of Year" campaign. I bet the Buffalo area businesses are lining up at his doorstep to offer him endorsement deals after this incident. Yikes.

The thing is though is that this isn't the first time Hardy has been in trouble. Back in 2006 he was cited for domestic assault for hitting his girlfriend that caused him to be suspended for 2 games in 2006. So, while who knows what actually happened in this situation with his father, the past history of violence does not bode well for Hardy.

I really want to like for Hardy being a IU alum and a pretty good football player but, situations like these make it hard to really pull for him. Hopefully this is the last of his troubles.

That was definitely a facetious statement. You might want to have your sarcasm meter recalibrated.

Yeah, the gun definitely needs to be mentioned... that's bad.

Yeah but the father thing shows that he still has unresolved issues with his fater. That is not good at all. Either he fixes this problem or we might here something similiar to this again. Issues with your parents never just go away.

Re: Bills rookie WR beats father, pulls gun.

Issues with a dead beat father will linger into every other relationship you have in life, until you come face to face with it and deal with it, one way or the other. Either accept the fact that it wasn't your fault he left, or forgive completely, start a fresh relationship and move on with your life.
