God that is a tough choice even though the 91 team won and the 83 team lost to the Raiders, that 83 team was so good. I'll go with the 91 team cuz thats the team I idolized during my youth, I was one when the 83 team was around.

For the Niners, I'd say the 1989 team with the 1994 team a close second

Yeah that was close to being a typical Saints choke

Re: Best team for each franchise?

Tough call.....
I personally loved the 83 Raiders with Plunkett, Allen, Christiensen, Long, Alzado, Townsend, Pickel, Hendricks, Millen, Haynes, Hayes ....not only for the players, but because they dominated a Redskin team that was considered the best in the league.

But I guess the 76 team was probably the best overall...

It had 7 hall of famers (including the coach) plus Stabler and Ray Guy (who should be in)

I always thought the 66 team was the best, but then I started reading more about the 62 team. Starr threw for more yards, Taylor had more yards rushing, defense was a bit stingier only allowing 148 points all year. Offense led the league in scoring as well, and the team had a differential of 267 points compared to the other teams!

Not as well knowns as the 66 and 67 teams because no Superbowl back in 62, and limited tv coverage, but I think they may have been the stronger team.
