That's the NFL's standard, that wasn't my opinion.

I mean, he said the last RB drafted that high that did something. Brown, while not a fan (hehe...), hasn't been bull crap. Before he got hurt last season, he was looking kick-***.

And I don't want to hear about Barry Sanders. He is arguably the best runner ever. Can't compare someone who has hardly been in the league to one of the best of all-time. Especially since they have different skill sets.

For starters Barry was a probowler since his rookie year. That's the relevence he serves in this dialog. We didn't have to wait for Barry to be in the league 3 years before we realized he was good. The point is thats how everyone tries to make Bush out to be. He is overrated. He isn't as good as everyone kept touting. That's why they didn't rule out drafting another running back in the draft this year. How do you have a RB you drafted 2nd overall 2 years ago and now your talking about drafting another RB. When Duece when down that was his chance to shine and he did...the best that he could!

Not every running back is going to be the best running back of all time.

True but everyone keeps missing the point. No one is taking Bush for what he is. Its always the hope that next season should be his year and this or that. Adrain Peterson is better than Reggie Bush. Ask me how I know?? lol its evident. AP style transitioned right into the NFL nicely but Bush just has speed. That's it. This isn't about Bush being the best of all time, he's not even mentioned in those talks. This is about everyone making him out to be more than what he really is.

People fell for BSPN's hype machine and thought Bush would come in and be Superman. That's still funny to me.

Then, last year, he tears his PCL. If not for that, he would've got over 600 yards rushing and over 80 catches once again...and yet, that's bust status.

Geez, has the world gone wacky?
