I hate the Giants but I have a Shockey jersey. I just loved how he played.

The defense is no worse than it was two years ago

and if Mckenzie can come back healthy they should be better than the defense that got to the NFC championship.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Will you be excited when he cries about not getting the ball enough?

Re: Shockey traded to the Saints

I don't really care if he does, for once the Saints' front office is at least trying to get good players on the team.

good point, I applaud their efforts. I'm still skeptical about the defense but if they can play solid, middle of the road D then they should have a very good season.

Sean Payton would quickly put Shockey in his place.

Sean Payton isn't a better coach than Coughlin, but Shockey's best year might have been his rookie year, when Payton was Giants offensive coordinator. If you look at game logs though, Shockey was better in the second half of the season when Jim Fassell took over the playcalling. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/player...900&sYear=2002 I do think Shockey will be very good in the Saints offense if he can stay healthy.
