He won't be complaining much this year no matter what. I think we see the humble Shockey for at least a year. He knows he's still under a microscope after the talk about last year that ended horribly for him and great for the rest of his team.

I don't think it's going to be a problem anyway. Payton knows how to use him, Brees knows how to keep an elite TE happy, and he SHOULD be the #1 target now in their offense... if not then 1b. Brees throws 40 times a game. There will be plenty of balls for him.

Great trade for the Saints. The red-zone offense is what I'm most looking forward to.

People keep ragging on our defense. With the additions of Vilma, Sed Ellis, Gay, and our 2nd round pick Porter (cornerback from Indiana) our defense will be much approved.

and you know that...I am soooooooooo happy about this trade. Wow, they traded one of the best all around tes in football. Giants will miss him but I won't. Good riddance. I don't know why the Giants couldn't make peace with him but the Saints have one the best tes in the NFL.

For Shockey? Depending on my needs and my stock of picks, no higher than a 4th.

However I am not a big fan of TE's who are all hype and no production.

Now Drew Brees gets to have Shockey drop passes for him instead of Eli.
