Brady or not, I still think the Pats win.

Pats.

People fail to realize that this team is STILL a top-tier team in the AFC.

Re: Patriots @ Jets

Should be a close game as it usually is. I expect Mangini to come hard with the blitzes against Cassel. My main worry though is Welker. He has a chance to tear up the secondary coming out of the slot, unless the Jets throw Lowery on him instead of keeping him on the outside.

Coverage on the backs and TE's needs to be a lot better also or else Maroney, Morris, Watson, etc. will kill us worse than the Dolphins did.

I expect another close game between these teams. The Jets have definitely improved, and losing Brady is huge, but the Pats are still the Pats. They will make plays on D and the coaching staff will put together a good gameplan for Cassel to execute. Looking foward to watching.

Their secondary is a mess and the rest of their D is pretty old and/or slow. I think Favre could have a pretty big day but I still think the Pats find a way to win, whether it's via turnovers, special teams or some other key play.

I think the Pats are still the better team. It all depends how their new QB does though. If he comes out and plays horrible I think the team will have a major letdown.

Then Brady will come out after halftime without even a limp and win the game.

If they hadn't placed him on the IR, I would've agreed with you. I'm actually surprised he was placed on the IR and wasn't just listed as "Questionable - knee/shoulder" every week.

Patriots have the best WR duo in the league in moss/welker. Theyve enuff weps to win w/o brady.
