I know you did. Like I said, I think he's only a strong candidate if they get in. That was my only point

For me it's a toss-up between Smith and Sporano. I'd lean towards Smith just because while both teams were terrible last year, the Falcons were in a worse situation IMO after the Vick and Petrino situations.

Smith,Sporano or Harbaugh. They all did a great job this year. Smith and Harbaugh did it with Rookie QB's. That's really impressive.

Mike Smith all the way...

Name me a coach who has had to take over a team after one of the most media intensive situations such as the Vick saga, have a rookie QB as your starter, and get into the playoffs - All in his 1st year as a head coach.

There's no way anyone else should even be considered IMO...

I agree.

I want to just say that John Fox has done a great job this year as well.

He gambled big time on Jeff Otah by trading away quite a bit to get him but so far it has been a great trade. Otah looks like a franchise-type OL. The Panthers seem to have made all the right decisions this past off-season.

What do you guys think? Who do you think deserves coach of the year?
It has to be Jeff Fisher, but he'll never win. He just keeps doing an amazing job. Last year was not a disappointing year for the Titans. They played much better than most Titans fans expected.
