None of those are really all that worthwhile.

That's worthless without context.

And his best year in YPP would have been good for 22nd this year. I'm sure there is some time difference, but the point still stands.

And because Vinatieri is a better kicker and the most clutch special team player ever.
Ray Guy was known for hang time and not the length of his punts.

So in other words "never" because it seems like he's never going to get the votes needed to get in.

He is definitely a battering ram, but the HOF has a biased against FB's of this era. In the 60's and 70's the FB was the primary ball carrier on a lot of teams. Now we only see FB's get significant carries when the HB goes down or is ineffective, (i.e LeRon McClain and Jason Snelling) without being a Mike Alstott type, FB's of this era would have to get judged almost like O-Lineman to get consideration.

I'd put Mike Alstott in before him, TBH. Also someone mention Moose Johnston, another guy I'd put in before him. Realistically none of those guys are getting in though.

The HOF is just another booby prize. It's given, not earned, and is always politically motivated.

There are guys who should be recognized that aren't, and guys that got in that didn't really deserve to.

The Idea that a fantasy football draft should determine who can get in the HOF gave me a great chuckle.

I agree 100%. It's great when you see someone get in who deserves it though.
