People who think at least half the league won't be interested are foolish. If Clarett can get drafted, Vick will get signed. What do you think owners care about, (sorry to be so blunt) dead dogs or $$$. Vick brings attention and fans (whether to boo him or cheer him) which brings $$$. I own 2 dogs for those that will call me insensitive. Vick can still bring the dollars, at least for one more season, how many people are gonna tune into his team to see how he does fresh out of jail? Being out of football for a couple of seasons? To see him in the wildcat. I'd sign the guy to a 1 or 2 year deal in a heart beat. For those that think it won't be many teams looking, just foolish..

Someone will take a flyer on him. But there won't be a ton of teams beating down his door.

Mediocre QB's, who've missed 2 full seasons, and are a PR nightmare, especially with our current commish in office, aren't going to be in high demand.

Take the dog issues out of the equation and the guy is still just a marginal QB with great athletic ability.

Really, if the guy was that amazing of a QB would Atlanta not have wanted to keep rights to him for when he was eligible again?

Great athlete, fun to watch him run but frustrating as hell to watch him read a defense and make the proper throw....I dont want him and I am a KC fan.

He will be what, 29 when he is expected to be eligible again? His best talent is his speed and acceleration and men simply do not get faster or quicker at 29 (unless maybe they were overweight up until that point in life). We tend to reach our physical peak between 25-29, I would suggest that he start learning to read defenses.

When did Orlando Pace ever get in trouble? As far as talent goes, while I'm in the middle on this debate Orlando Pace is going to be a surefire HOF, he and Jonathan Ogden were benchmarks of greatness in there prime. Hell, I've got a problem comparing Vick to Cunningham.

You know what... I wouldn't be surprised if Vick is an even better athlete once he's out of prison (weight training, strict diet) ... but I think he'll be a worse football player than when he left.

Isn't he on house arrest for the remainder of his sentence?

I am not sure about what exactly they feed you in prison but it is probably not designed to develop guys into great ahtletes.

I would think hey probably dont give guy "A" 180g of protien/day and guy "B" 210 because he is trying to get bigger, etc. or hoping that he becomes a better ahtlete. It is probably the same crap across the board... maybe it is in proportion to keep every prisoner lean and healthy, not sure.

Pretty sure Vick gets preferential treatment.

Who knows what he has become after his prison sentence?
