Vick was fun to watch, not a top tier QB imo. He has proven nothing other than he is really athletic & fast & that is pretty inaccurate when it comes to passing. I honestly wouldn't pick him over my starting QB, Rodgers. (& no it wasn't his fault the team went downhill, it was the defense or lack there of it. Mainly the defensive line & we all know if your line is weak, the whole defense will spiral downward.) Rodgers did way better than many expected, surprised me for sure, especially w/all the pressure on him being Favre's "replacement". If he keeps playing the way he did this year or improving, the Pack will easily have bigger worries about their team than Rodgers.

Who would take a PR disaster like Vick over a franchise QB in Cutler?

Even if you throw away the jail time and everything, I doubt very many would take a work-in-progress and very average QB over a guy like Cutler.

Let's be serious here. A 30 year old QB who was never even really a good QB anyway, can't run a traditional passing offense to offset the running game, is good with his feet but can't go anywhere beyond that and as he is aging that will be deteriorating or a young possibly franchise QB who despite his problems has shown that he can run an NFL offense with decent success. It is a quite a decision isn't it.

If you guys are gonna be serious take in to consideration that if Brady or whom ever had that offensive line that Vick had they would not be successful at all.

You guys see what happens when these pocket passing Qbs get pressure, they fold quicker than a bad poker hand.

That is what made him a stand out NFL player. You put Vick on the Patriots, Chargers ect and you will see a different Vick. You put Brady, Rivers, or whomever on that Falcons team and they won't make through 2 seasons. I mean they both are broke up right now. These guys are playing on way better teams offensively wise. Look at the overhaul the Falcons had to do to the team after Vick left.

There have been other scrambling QBs, but not any that could out run your fastest defensive player every single play period.
