It doesn't make any sense. They also resigned DeAngelo Hall I think to a 54 mill deal with 20 + of it guaranteed. I really don't get it. How is it possible for them to make all these deals and they come in already over the cap? or just barely under it?

It's because they have a cap genius. People have been saying that it would all blow up in the Skins' faces eventually, "they won't be able to resign (insert name here)" or "they'll have to cut everyone in a few years" or "they're still paying for Deion Sanders". The fact of the matter is, they know how to work the cap. Unfortunately, they have no clue how to evaluate talent.

The contracts are definitely backloaded, with little money coming in this year. Danny boy is hoping for 2010 to be an uncapped year.

Yeah, the website said something like 32 million over the first 13 months, I'm betting much of that money comes in that 13th month. If the NFL does have an uncapped year next season, I'd expect to see a lot of restructuring, which I'm sure would make the players happy.

... Yea Brandon Lloyd and Adam Archuleta are a testament to their cap prowess.

$10 Mil bonus to a WR who what caught 10 passes.

C'mon...

This move has Dana Stubblefield written all over it. Whats unfortunate is that it probably spells the end to Haynesworth's career.

He'll never live up to this contract.
