Why not cut the guy two weeks ago? Hopefully that's a simple enough question for the high and mighty to understand.

Because they saved money by suspending him.

Hope LJ stays out of trouble.
He only lost 1 game check. His money was gauranteed. He wont start losing until next year. There was no way he was going to make what he was making with the Chiefs somewhere else.

Chiefs had better then an above average line when LJ was in his heyday. It was one of the best the NFL has ever seen imo. They had Eddie Kennison and freaking Sammy Parker as their starting wide outs. lol

Anyways, Thank god he got cut. Us Chiefs fans wont miss his 2.7 yards per carry. I cant even count how many times i have seen him go down on first contact the last few years.

I dont care hat happens to him next. As long as he's gone, its all good.

I'll answer the question for you, my lord.

It was probably because they wanted to take the week off to think about it even more. That and maybe that and there were also some other reasons that we don't/won't know about anytime soon.

Hope I answered your question for you, my lord.

Priest Holmes had the great o line but the decline of the great Chief line started soon after LJ became a starter. (age and injuries)
