True, Herm Edwards killed his running backs. There is statiscal eveidence that few backs bounce back from more than 370 carries.

I don't think LJ is done as a productive running back in the NFL. He's just demoralized and apathetic toward playing hard because of the constant losing and overall negative atmosphere surrounding him. He's really no different than any other typical young talented player that has shown immaturity in his personality.

If LJ gets on a ball club that has strong leadership in the locker room and coaching staff that will keep him in line, then he'll be back as himself on the field playing hard and running well for that team.

i think they should just cut him or trade him for a draft pick...plus with his recent slurs and nonsense, i bet the chiefs can get away with only having to pay part of his salary/signing bonus remaining

LOL... oh no. We have been losing just as much as the Chiefs have. Getting LJ to Detroit would be a lateral move that wouldn't help himself or this Lions team.

LJ has to go to a playoff contending team that could use a workhorse back to improve their running attack.

6000 yards is a franchise record? I don't see much news to this, especially since said record doesn't seem like much of a milestone as it is. Emmitt Smith has 3 times that record logged in his stat book alone.

I understand the fans may be upset with LJ but really, this is just slow news-day fodder.
