As unsexy of a pick as it may be, I'd suggest they go with some more OL or DL. The team has some talent in the skill positions, but with Cable being an OL coach he must know the importance of the battles in the trenches, I'd bet he'd like to get his hands on a stud. Can you imagine the rotation of Suh, Seymour & Ellis on the DL, assuming they resign those players? That would be a line-collapsing DL coupled with a legit shut-down CB (Nmandi) who literally eliminates a 1/3rd of the field; the defense could be dominate.

Exactly.

Blame the Raiders for giving him that ridiculous contract.

If Jamarcus's focus is on helping his team win games, which it clearly isn't, a paycut would give the Raiders more cap space to help build a better team. Alex Smith did the same thing, but Alex Smith is at heart probably a good guy.

Wow.....Jimbo Fisher must know what he's doing with a QB to have gotten the production at LSU he did out of this head case.

This is a bad point. If thats the case every player should take pay cuts. Alex Smith took the pay cut because he was smart enough to realize he would be cut if he didnt. He was able to extend his stay at San Fran and may finally because "the guy" there.
