He was tied for 8th in touchdowns, but was #1 in interceptions by 6 picks and the three next closest players were rookies.

That's terrible any way you slice it.

I agree his INT numbers are horrible but if he gets some weapons on offense I see him turning it around. Maybe the Bears will be a playoff team. Too bad by the time they do get that offense the defense will be far gone.

3. That excuse for McNabb is getting tired. At one point it may have been true, but the Eagles have spent 3 top 2 round draft picks on offensive "weapons" for McNabb the last two years on top of Westbrook and Celek. 3 or 4 years ago that excuse was true, but now it's silly.

Quite simply, you switch Maclin, Avant, and Jackson for Wayne, Collie, and Garcon and Manning probably throws for even more yards and TDs.

By this point, Manning has played with about 3 completely different groups of runningbacks, wide receivers, and tight ends and managed to look like amazing with all of them.
I was following you until that line. How would that make sense?

What I meant is he has had half of the talent(offensively) Manning has his entire career yet still manage to have more consistent post season success and still put together a HOF career.

Clearly the props goes to Bill Polian for making the great finds like he always does. And the media has been saying all year how young and inexperience the Colts WR's were this year.

What excuse? He has performed there are no need for excuse. But one was a rookies and the other a 2nd year player. Yeah they can play but clearly arent seasoned vets. And you cant deny that.

Wayne is a potential HOF'er who has been in the system his entire career. You cant began to compare his impact to Maclin or Jackson.

At this point in any QB's career theres going be a good bit of turnover in personnel. But everybody is replaced with more talent. Which goes back to Bill Polian being a elite GM. The talent he has had through out his career has been more than anybody other than Kurt Warner.

He has played with pontentially 4 or 5 HOF'er just on his side of the ball how many players in this era can say that?

Because Jackson, Maclin, and Avant are a better group of receivers than Wayne and two low drafted rooks.

McNabb, Palmer, little Manning, and Ryan would constitute the next tier.
HOW???

And lol at Schaub and Romo, hell even Rodgers

No sir. You're mistaken. And especially considering Manning has Dallas Clark too. Wayne >>> Jackson. Maclin = Garcon. Clark + Collie >>> Avant.

Maclin hasn't even looked all that great this year. Jackson's been a big play threat and that's about it. He's just been a more electric version of Percy Harvin. And Garcon and Collie can play with Maclin and Avant. And Dallas Clark is much better than Brent Celek.

Your agrument is based on where they were drafted which has absolutely no impact on how they perform. Based on your agrument JaMarcus Russell is better than Tom Brady. And Wayne alone is better than the Eagles group. Jackson is explosive but too one dimensional. And Maclin is no where near being a polished WR.
