Re: Is Brett Favre going to retire?

i really hope he retires, i love him as a player, but i cant stand the annual waiting game on his retirement/coming-back decisions, and i also cant stand the disappointments he leaves his fans with,...i.e. postseason interceptions to lose games!
(last pass thrown as a packer&viking=INT)

still love him, he just needs to call it a career, and i cant take the drama anymore that he brings

Re: Is Brett Favre going to retire?

Didn't say I would take him back as my starter. He'd be a damn good insurance policy to have though. Wishful thinking on my part LOL.

Re: Is Brett Favre going to retire?

I hope he comes back, say want about him, but he wins games. Yes he made that INT, but if it wasn't for him we would have not even been in that game. I love watching Brett play and he makes so much happen. So I hope he comes back.

Re: Is Brett Favre going to retire?

last pass as a Falcon = pick
last pass as a Packer = pick
- lost 2007-08 NFC title game
last pass as a Jet = pick (next pass was illegal forward pass...doesn't count in stats)
- kept Jets out of playoffs
last pass as a Viking = pick
- lost 2009-10 NFC title game

retire already Brent

Re: Is Brett Favre going to retire?

I hope he does. The timing feels right. If he comes back one more year the new gameplan on Favre, after what happened yesterday, will be "hit him early, hit him often". I don't think he could hold up for another year.

It'd be better for him to end his career giving his all in the NFC Title game than ending it on injured reserve.
