Rivers or Vick: Who is Playing at a Higher Level?

They got out to that huge lead and ran the football.

I'd have to go with Vick because of how many ways he can beat you. Add in the fact he hasn't thrown a freaking interception all year and he gets the edge. Turnovers rule football.

I will be amazed if he keeps protecting the ball like he is.

Rivers has had turnovers but, Vick more than likely won't keep it up. I think he has a great chance to keep the turnovers limited. Every QB has his day where he just sucks or a defender just makes a a play on the ball or a tipped pass turns into a INT.

While the no INT stat is amazing, I heard a guy on the radio the other day from PFT and they had broken down Vick's season so far. The no INT thing is more luck than anything as they counted 6 balls so far that should have been picked that were dropped or the defender just whiffed. It's sort of like someone bragging about a pitching not having given up any home runs and yet they have a high fly ball percentage. Eventually it catches up with you.

When Vick is hot he can be very accurate but we've seen many games in his career when he's been erratic at best especially in the intermediate passing game. I think many would agree he's improved by leaps and bounds this year but Rivers has been very accurate throughout his entire career. There's a much larger body of work there.

In some ways I feel it's kinda unfair to compare both these players since Vick hasn't played the same amount of games.

When it comes down to it I feel it really is still a toss up right now.

IMO though Rivers is the better if not the best deep ball passer in league.

I think if you stack everything up right now Vick has the edge. I'm a big Rivers fan...think the Chargers got the better deal of that Eli situation.

About the "coulda been" INTs...they're just that fellas.

Right now I just have to give Vick the edge.
