They played solid defense when it mattered and all threw out the game to keep their team in the lead or at least very close, not a great defensive performance but, solid considering who they were up against. Every time I expected that defense to bitch up they kept sticking their chest out and making them punt or holding them to at least a field goal. The Saints can put up 21+ points on pretty much any team so I thought the defense played well.

Edit: And jayhouston12...SMH lol.

If you saw the Hawks play weeks 14-16, you'd think different.

The entire game matters.

It's pretty bad considering who they were against.

36 points is a season high for New Orleans and 12 points above their regular season average.

"Da Bears"
If it snows or rains with high winds.

If it's a clear day with minimal wind the Seahawks will pull another one out of their butt somehow.

Re: NFC Divisional: Seahawks @ Bears

I'm not discrediting the significance of playing good football early in the game but, the game is so much more critical mid late/late in the game than it is early. That is what I mean by the defense made more plays when it mattered more late in the game because, the room for error is so much smaller.

I have doubt that the Seahawks will even get to the NFC championship game. I'm not saying just because, they beat the Saints they're all of a sudden world beaters and their the team to beat in the SB or NFCCG...I'm just rooting for them.

Actually, the Bears have been much better in good weather than bad this year...dunno how much difference the bad weather would make against Seattle, since they're a dome team, but I don't think the Bears should root for that.

As for the game, I'll pick the Bears by 10, but they're enough of a Jekyll-and-Hyde team that I could see this going either way.

Common misconception...Seattle no longer has a domed stadium.

This is a common misconception? The Seahawks' last game in the Kingdome was January 9, 2000.
