That's my whole point and I'm glad at least a few people here know my reasoning. Even if Chicago wins (which there is a good chance they will) they have to win by double digits for me to not make money. I can't believe how many posters on a sports forum don't know how a spread works.

I think ITT knows how a spread works and is picking Chicago to cover it. Hence his 38-10 prediction.

Yes, ITT knows how a spread works. I don't think 55 was directing that post at me, though.

I would be confident in the Bears only if they didn't have a unpredictable Jay Cutler at QB. Who knows how many picks he'll throw in this one. That's why I give the Seahawks a outside chance at another upset.

There 10 point favorites. How much respect do you want?

You know that the national media always hypes up the underdog after a major upset.

Chicago, after seeing what happened last week and earlier in the season, should be playing full bore. So as long as the spread remains at 10 or less, then I'll take Chicago. However, if it moves to 10.5+, then I'm gonna consider taking the points, as in the snow, a touchdown and a field goal is a lot.

I have a hard time picking Seattle because I think they might be a one hit wonder that just played the game of their lives last Sunday. On the other hand, they might actually be a serious threat.
