Not a knock, 'cause it's incredibly smart and I'd do the same thing.
Seriously.

At least Brady tries to avoid it. I saw him a few times vs the Jets today where he tried ducking as the defender dove for him. Didn't work, but at least he gave effort.

Not to say Peyton doesn't give effort. I've seen him sit in the pocket and dart a perfect pass as he takes a hit, but only when receivers are open. If it's not there, he'll just fall and take the sack.. when he could try to avoid it and make something happen. I don't know why he just gives up.

One of the above QB's will win the SB this year. All are your prototypical drop back passers. Rodgers is pretty mobile, but I don't see him being this new QB that you speak of.

They look nothing like this "new type" of QB you speak of. The "new type" of QB was put out in the first round.
I think he's moreso referring to the impending end of the statue-esque pocket passers ala Brady, Manning, etc. Guys that are no threat whatsoever with their legs and have close to zero escapability.

Brady/Manning have 4 SB rings between the two of them. Michael Vick has never even been to a SB, and probably never will.

The reason the Colts/Pats keep getting eliminated is because neither of them have dominating defenses. They've been building their teams through an offensive philosophy, which leaves holes in their defense. As many times as people say it, it never gets old: If you give me a list of the best offenses and best defenses, I'm taking the teams with the best defenses in the post season.

No, its time for the Pats, Saints and Colts to find a DEFENSE.

You know what the final four teams all have that other teams don't? GREAT DEFENSIVE PLAY ON A CONSISTENT BASIS

Look at the time of original post. Based on time, this thread was created solely on Brady and the Pats losing today.

To me its a joke...Brady and Manning are still by far best QB's in league.

Not to mention that the best mobile QB in the league got himself worn down this year by being....... the best mobile QB in the league. Until the best QB's (plural) in the league are mostly "mobile QB's", then guys like Brady, Manning, and Brees will reign supreme

Saints had that this year until the Seahawks game, Pats actually had a pretty good defense but people don't want to accept that I guess, Colts were just average I guess yeah.

Jnes also brings up a good point, it's not very often these QBs get hurt other then the freak accident of Brees in SD and Brady against KC
