WHAT?!!!

Romo is 10x the qb Palmer is at this point. Even Jerry isn't stupid enough to make that deal.

No scouting department? I feel like the Bengals should be the subject of an Outside the Lines piece, if they haven't been already. They're a professional football franchise? What the hell?

I'm glad I'm only a Cincinnati Reds fan and not a full blown Cincinnati fan. The Bills have been pretty irrelevant the last few years, but at least it's not hopeless with them.

Shockingly this says much more to me about this Bengals franchise than it does about Palmer. It's one thing when the fans clamor about it over and over for years, even decades, but it reaches a whole different level when it comes from your players, especially your starting QB.

I'm shocked this doesn't happen more often in the Bengals oginization.

Its why they have and will never be able to sign any big time free agents.
Next year is going to be really bad, I see 2 maybe 3 wins at the most.
Also every game will be blacked out, we will only be able to watch away games on TV.
I dont have and will never have Bengals season tickets but I have 5 friends who have season tickets and they are not renewing them for next year.

Re: Carson Palmer demanding a Trade From Bengals.

Shocking news, Mike Brown said today the Bengals will not trade Palmer.

Quote:
MOBILE, Ala. _ Bengals president Mike Brown confirmed Monday that quarterback Carson Palmer met with him last week and requested a trade and that he turned him down.
"He's key to our plans. He's central to us. He was told that. We count on him going forward. He was told we were in no position to trade him, Brown said here at the Senior Bowl. "It would not be something we would consider doing...We are not looking for offers."

Just a really stupid move on their part imo, I think you can live if other players don't want to be there and you keep them but if your QB doesn't want to be there then that can be a recipe for disaster.

I can't blame Mike Brown for not trading him. I wouldn't either.
