Receiver is the least valued of the offensive skill positions. only 21 in the HOF. Peter King also tweeted that Brown, Reed, & Carter are cancelling each other out during the vote. 2012 should clear the log jam. Parcells & Tiki Barber are the only 2 first timers of any relevence.

Re: Hall of Fame class of 2011

we as fans should do something for Chris Carter if he doesnt make it next year. We should at least let him know that we believe he should be in.

I am still amazed at how those writers can look themselves in the mirror and say 14k yards shouldnt get you in the hall.

I didnt watch you as much as I should have, but the time I did watch you, you were amazing... only 1 WR is better than you and he is already there.

Would Tiki even be a 1st ballot HOF?

I doubt it (although I could be wrong), so hopefully that opens the door for Carter next year.

Shannon Sharpe? Marshall Faulk? Deion Sanders? Hello? I don't recall teams basing entire gameplans on negating the effects of Dawson on the field.

Does Larry Allen come up for HOF consideration next season? If so, I see him making it in before most of the other O & D Linemen, and if he doesn't, it's an outright shame.

If Roaf doesn't get in next year, I'll be shocked. The best lineman the Saints have ever had.

Dude should've been a no-brainer 1st ballot.

If he gets in before Roaf and not at the same time it will be a shame.
