it would take peyton manning 4 or 5 years of around-the-clock teaching to pass his knowledge on to his successor. it might take brett favre 4 to 5 weeks. that's not saying he's not great, but what peyton does and what brett has done aren't even close.

There's an article on Nfl.com talking about Favre mentoring Cam Newton. Could it be another disciple? Also would all the players mentioned above be considered apples from Favres tree?
