I wonder how many people subscribe to Sunday Ticket.

Tons of people do. I did it this year again because they charged me half price.

I would not pay $350 because I can see my teams games but for half the price I love it.

I can watch it on my pc or smart phone and on my 60 inch tv.

Nothing like seeing 8 games at once

Enough for DirectTV to shell out $1 billion a year for the rights to it. It's a system seller for them.

When I was 19 and still living w/ my mom, she got the Sunday ticket for me. I need to go thank her now. No clue it cost that much. Idk, to me, as much as I love football, it isn't worth it.

I watched all of Tampa's games. That meant w/e time slot they played in, no other game was getting watched. I guess since I don't live anywhere near Florida is was great to see all my teams games, but between ESPN and NFL.com, and now the Internet, I've been ok since then.

First of all Sunday ticket has always cost $340, and while people are getting it for "free" this year when they sign up for DTV they are locked into a 2 year contract so they will have to pay for it over the next 2 years.
You're still getting it for half off if you stay two years and you cam opt out of Sunday Ticket for the second year of the contract and not have to pay.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I wonder if they will offer a free weekend like MLBTv does at the start of the season?

I didn't think about it in terms of $20 per week. That sounds like a good deal. I won't be able to use it this year since I'll miss some of the season, but I'll look into it next year.
