If I bothered to post during the week I would've pointed out the game is in SF because the Rams and Bucs shutdown the Saints running game....

also would've pointed out the 49ers didn't give up more than 27 all season,once in week 2 and once in week 17...

The end of this game is exactly why coaches go into coward mode at the end of the game. They would rather lose the game 8 yards at a time than get beat deep and be criticized for being too aggressive.

Watching the Lions this season made me despise soft zone defense, but the alternative isn't any better.
