Guessing he was fired more for the assault. Either way not worth the trouble to keep on the payroll. Can work on resurrecting his broadcast career after this is resolved.

TBH I was shocked he wasn't fired after the domestic he caught a few years ago. Seems like wth the assault added on too this, its hard to say he deserves another chance IMO. But given that there are like 200 sports networks now. I'm sure once he clears this up he will find work on NBCSN or FS1.
