Re: NFL Off Topic

For you folks that wanted to see the Seahawks punished(again):

Quote:
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll’s admission that cornerback Richard Sherman was dealing with a knee injury that wasn’t listed on the injury report touched off an NFL investigation last month and there was a report that the team could lose a second-round draft pick as a result.

The team was stripped of a fifth-round pick for violating the league’s rules on offseason workouts and the report indicated that the penalty might be upgraded due to the failure to list Sherman’s injury. That was called “foolishness” by Sherman and now a report from Ian Rapoport of NFL Media suggests that any discipline won’t be that drastic.

Rapoport reports that the team is not expected to be penalized heavily “if at all” because a review of materials related to Sherman’s injury found that the team “did not commit an egregious rules violation.” Sherman never missed any game time and took part in the Pro Bowl, which Rapoport cites as a factor in that decision.

Seahawks General Manager John Schneider said recently that the team didn’t do anything “out of the norm” and it sounds like the league may have reached a similar conclusion.

Re: NFL Off Topic

My opinions of some of the SB commercials:

Skittles - This was pretty good. Got me laughing after the grandma.

Bai - Simple but funny and I drink the stuff every day. It's really damn good.

Stranger Things 2 - Nailed it and got me pumped for the second season

Buschhhhhhhhhhhhh - It was stupid but funny at the same time

T-mobile - The one with Gronk/Biebs. What a flop. Thought this was a pretty terrible ad.

Audi - Biggest POS ad and it's getting ripped to shreds on youtube. People are really getting fed up with this garbage.

Only ones I really liked were the World Of Tanks, Skittles and NFL Shop/Network ad.

How about the oil industry lobby showing how they make progress or innovation possible?

Re: NFL Off Topic

If a workers comp bill passes in Illinois the NFLPA will recommend free agents not sign with the Bears.

Man, if that happens I bet Bears players will be screaming for a trade/be released LOL

Seriously, that's pretty messed up that the PA can do that.

Re: NFL Off Topic

It's pretty messed up the state of Illinois would even consider such legislature. I don't blame the PA one bit.
