There is nothing TMZ can offer a hotel worker to slip them that video that the NFL can't if they really wanted to get this video that they clearly knew existed. Everybody's hands are dirty in this mess. I just find the NFL trying to backpedal out of it as warriors of virtue who were trying to do the right thing but just thwarted by everybody else involved laughable.
I heard stuff before the season started, but everyone was saying it looked like nothing would come from it. Without any charges from the cops and the woman not saying anything, the NFL wasn't likely to do anything. I didn't follow it closely, so I didn't know video existed.

But if he does, then yes they absolutely have to suspend them because they've taken on this stance in light of the Ray Rice situation that they are anti-DV and they take it seriously. Because they're stumbles have been so massive for all to see they are under huge scrutiny to get it right and to prove to people that this is an issue they do truly care about. Goodell was swinging the ban hammer around for every speeding ticket, weed bust and public intoxication case he possibly could a few years ago and then doled out a two game suspension for a guy dragging his girlfriend out of an elevator in a DV incident.

Look at this timeline of events from the Ray Rice incident. It's crazy how similar the league's handling of things are. Hell it's actually worse now because at least they DID suspend Rice for 2 games initially.

I may be wrong but I don't think the NFL can just throw a wad of cash to a hotel employee to get them to release a video like TMZ (probably) did. Don't they have to release the details of the investigation to the PA and Hunt's attorneys?

The best bet was to go through the police department. Not sure why that didn't happen.

You are correct, they would have to work with law enforcement for a subpoena. That's the only way they would get the tape but I agree with you that it probably should have, and could have happened.

Yes I just saw a video. It's because they were no charges. Kareem came clean to the Chiefs. They told the NFL. This has all to do with the video. They been investigating since Feb. I'm sure the only people that saw that video were the hotel employees.

Kareem has basically been the 4th MVP this season. It's sad. This went from zero to hundred quick. I'm sure he's crying right now.

You guys think if they was a video of Peterson beating his kid. That he'd be in the league right now lol

According to the Chiefs front office, Hunt lied to them. About something. And the video helped prove that.

The NFL should know by now that if there is a video, they better view it and assume it is getting leaked.

This hotel while independent is still under the Marriott name, so I'm sure the NFL could work to get the tape. This isn't some private or illegal in room video. It is the hallway and unless the floor is restricted to key cards, anyone can get up there.

No lol. I've dealt with these video evidence kind of situations too many times now in my life now. It's Marriott video. They don't have to share it with anyone. These leaks come from a employee who has access to those videos.

I'd love to give you an example. But too many cases pending lol.

Yeah I don't think that was the case. Maybe he down played what happen. And the story doesn't match perfectly. But he still told them something happen. Which I think we agree. He should of been suspend right there. Maybe he said he didn't hit her? The fact that the Chiefs took his word is a joke lol.
