Both teams need to win here. The Patriots just lost to the Cardinals.... The Ravens were winning against the Eagles for the majority of the game, but some poor throws by Flacco cost them the win. I think the Ravens will win here, not because they're my team, but if the Cardinals can get good pressure on Brady, I'd bet the Ravens can too.

I got the Ravens. That's just my gut there. Either way, someone's headed for 1-2. I just think Baltimore is more focused this year, on a mission. And the motivation of last year's crushing defeat.

Both teams need a win bad, but I think more so for the Ravens. The Jets are mostly hype, and its not the dolphins' or bills' years YET.

If the Ravens fall to 1-2, it'll be a tough uphill climb the rest of the season, where as the Patriots should be just fine.

That said, I'm predicting the Ravens in a close game. I fear our pash rush and run stopping is going to be poor until Suggs gets back, if ever. Lucky for us, Hernandez is out so that's a big deal, but they still have a lot of threats. I've noticed them begin to build their defense up, and Billicheck truly is a great coach, but that defense has a long way to go. I think Flacco bounces back and Rice has a big day to squeak out a close one at home.

Last time the Patriots started 1-2 was in 2001 when they won a SB, so I'm fine with the Baltimore win.

All joking aside, I don't see the Patriots pulling this one out. It'll be interesting to see what kind of offense they come out with, but I don't see the defense holding Flacco, Rice and company down long enough for the offense to figure it out.

28-20, Baltimore.

Last time I checked Joe Flacco was still the starting QB for Baltimore. Therefore, I'm picking my New England Patriots.

So I guess you're saying Flacco is why they lost last year's playoff game. If so I'd hate to see how you feel about Brady bc Flacco severely outplayed him (pretty sure he did the game before that too).

Flacco's looked pretty good. I think him and Matt Ryan, and even Mark Sanchez, are really finally comfortable in their offenses. Still think Ryan's the best of them, but Flacco isn't holding his team back like he may have in the past.

Ravens gotta feed Rice. Don't feed Flacco's ego and try to make him look good by passing it a ton. Wear out the Patriots with Rice.

Not at all saying that. I just never miss an opportunity to talk a little smack about Flacco.
