Patriots gonna take this one. The Ravens defense, specifically the secondary looked terrible last week letting Brent Celek reawaken his career on them. And I dont remember them getting any pressure on Vick. Tom Brady with that much time is just bad for any defense.

And that Patriots defense is tough enough to handle Flacco and Ray.

Hope the Pats' O-Line puts up a better performance than it did last week.

I'll take the Ravens in this, 27-17.

Yup, the right side of the Pats offensive line needs to step up. I can Baltimore giving them fits just like Arizona did last week.

What's the deal with Brian Waters? Last I heard, the Pats offered him a raise and he still turned that down to comeback.

A story came out the other day about NE offering him a $4 million contract to come back this season. From what I understand he's a bit of a homebody and hates being away from his kids. Guess the raise in money wasn't enough and he decided it was time to call it quits.

I'm still not 100% convinced we've seen the last of him in a NE uniform. That might be wishful thinking on my part though.

Is it Flacco specific? Because that's pretty weak smack talk considering the options at your disposal from the last few years. Defense, kicking game, WRs, coaches... pretty much anyone but Ray Rice (with Flacco probably 2nd only to him).

I probably would've went with something like "I fully expect Jacoby Jones to drop a late pass that hits him directly in the hands that will cost them a score or important 1st down." since they signed TJ for a year and he dropped the 1st down pass... signed Evans last year and he dropped the TD.

Okay now I'm getting depressed...

Not exactly accurate. The Ravens secondary is actually their strongest units (and it'd be more a case of Deshawn burning them since they aren't really guarding the TE unless it's man and nickel). But more importantly, it's not like Celek was beating anybody. Their strategy left him WIDE open... all damn game. So frustrating to watch, I don't know what they were thinking, and they never adjusted. I'm pretty sure this week's gameplan won't involve leaving the TE wide open, lol.

With that, they have been playing a lot of soft zone on both Dalton (agreed with this idea for the most part) and Vick (thought this was just stupid... especially with more linemen going down for the Eagles). If they play a soft zone against Brady, someone should be fired. They've actually done well against Brady recently, but I fear Suggs had a big role in that. They've been running various CB blitzes to try to help get pressure and I think that will be right up Brady's alley but we'll see.

The Pats D has never had anything for Ray Rice... overcompensating has allowed Flacco to light them up. With the right play calling these two have helped put together a great offense against the Pats. Not worried about that at all. Unfortunately, the pass rush issue is big enough to make all my other rebuttals mute with Brady and all of his weapons on that side of the ball.

This is going to be a great game. I'm picking the Ravens because they're at home... but that's about as strong of an argument as I have. And that ain't all that strong. This could go either way.

Torrey Smith lost his little brother earlier this morning. He left the team to be with his family in VIrginia. Torrey is saying he will play in tonight's game.
