I've been wondering the same thing! I'm most curious to see if his opinion has changed at all, or if he perhaps believes this year has been a mirage.

The Seahawks had 5 games against the NFL's top 10 yards per game defenses:

49ers (#3 - twice), Bears (#5), Jets (#8), and Panthers (#10)

5 games against the NFL's top 10 points per game defenses:

49ers (#2 - twice), Bears (#3), Dolphins (#7), and Patriots (#9)

6 games against the NFL's top 10 in total sacks:

Rams (#1 - twice), Packers (#4), Vikings (#5), Bears (#8), and Panthers (#9)

For a total of 11 games against an opponent with a top 10 defense in at least one of those three categories.

Using DVOA, the Seahawks offense ranked #4 overall in the NFL, with playing the 4th toughest schedule and playing 9 games against top 10 defenses:

Bears (#1), 49ers (#2 - twice), Cardinals (#6 - twice), Rams (#7 - twice), Packers (#8), and Jets (#9)

Some seriously digging, lol. But no need to argue that. The question is how many top 10 offenses have the Hawks played? I doubt anyone is wondering about Seattle's offense vs the Skins D.

Not that I expected anything else, but the game will be called by the ultimate NFC East Troll Troy Aikman and Joe Buck. Looks like Seattle opened up as the 3 point favorite. So Washington is a pretty big home dog. Not surprising, but there could be some money made on them.

Buck and Aikman love calling the NFC East, and the NFC East team usually wins in these matchups. Not sure what why they're a troll.

Have you ever heard Aikman call a NFCE game the Cowboys are in?
