The Eagles are set to begin rebuilding with a new coaching staff. Vick sucks. And he's old. And he won't be the QB of the future. This makes zero sense. And there are better options out there as well

Ill give you that you probably know more about the Eagles situation than I do, but:

1. That team does not have the look of a roster ready to rebuild, at all.

2. Vick is neither old nor does he suck. Older and past his prime? Yes.

3. What better QB option is out there

1. True. But they are. All indications point to getting rid of most veterans and trying to rebuild.

2. For a running QB, he's old. And yes he does stink. He couldn't read a blitz to save his life last year. Foles got sacked way less behind the same O-Line. He can't make decisions well enough anymore.

3. Better for the Eagles--There are many names. Chase Daniel, Alex Smith are 2 names I liked. Like I said above, going with Vick even for a year would be going backwards IMO.

Re: 2013 Transactions Thread

I'm excited to see if Dennis Dixon can still play. Oh and you don't want Chase Daniel, he is awful. He's one of the best high-fivers and clipboard holders in the league but he isn't a very good quarterback.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

I've actually heard good things about him.

Re: 2013 Transactions Thread

Just watch Saints preseason games and see how the offense goes from a well oiled machine to a sputtering piece of **** when he comes in. He even got all of the first-team reps this year with Drew missing mini-camps and he still didn't look that great.

On Dennis Dixon, I think it's telling that he couldn't win a spot on the Steelers' active roster over the likes of Charile Batch and Byron Leftwich. That said, I'm a fan of his and I hope he finds success somewhere in the league, be it with the Eagles or elsewhere.

Yeah, I'm not expecting too much but it would be cool if he can play like he did at Oregon with his old coach.
