Carolina did what they do best.. find a way to lose a game where they're leading late.

Same old story with Ron Ron. Year 3 of the SOS.

I had it as a low scoring defensive game but 12-7?!
Seahawks only had 70 yards rushing and the Panthers only had 119 yards passing.
No INTs but 1 fumble for the Seahawks and 3 for the Panthers.

That was a war. This was quite a toughness check, both mentally and physically. This should carry over nicely for next week...and our next early eastern game as well.

Congrats to Wilson and his first 300 yard game, Baldwin for his great game, and our defense playing so well in those conditions with almost all of our pass rushers sitting.

Props to Carolina for a tough defense and Cam seems more dangerous than before.

This feels differently than the standard "find a way to lose" game from the Panthers...

I really liked the offensive gameplan and the way the defense looked....

or maybe I am just fooling myself...ugh

It was ugly, but Sometimes you gotta grind/slug it out. either way i'll take it. Carolina's front 7 is tough, but that secondary finally showed its ugly head. I loved the back to back deep throws from Wilson, and Kearse (UDUB Huskies!!) came through. Better to win ugly then lose cute. I'll take it

Re: Week 1: Seattle Seahawks @ Carolina Panthers

Defense showed up big time, holding the Panthers to 243 yards and forcing two turnovers. Just let us get our guys back soon.

Panthers showed a lot of grit... Kuechly is a monster.

Wilson played well for the most part, but I feel it wasn't his best.

The offensive line play was pretty atrocious. I think the Panthers had eight or nine hits on Wilson on the day, a whole bunch of hurries and a few sacks. The running game was terrible. The big uglies did not earn much respect from me today. Maybe I'm being too hard on them.

I knew it was going to be a close, low scoring affair. The bottom line is that the Seahawks struggle mightily on the road in early games.

Glad to be 1-0.

Lol yeah those consecutive bombs were ballsy. And exciting in a good way.

ANY win on the road at 10am Seattle time on the east coast and especially in that heat is epic.
