Could Garropolo Take Brady's Job?

What if Garropolo plays out of his mind through the first four games and the Pats go 4-0 on those games, is it conceivable that Hoody could actually bench Brady in favor of Garropolo?

No he won't take Brady's job!!! The guy still has at least 3 seasons left and Kraft will not Belichick trade the face of his franchise for last 15 years just because this young gun has some promise against weak teams.

Pittsburgh, Buffalo and Dallas are weak teams?

Okay......

Anywho, it's not very likely that would happen. Brady hasn't seen major slippage other than not being able to escape the pass rush. When Belichick effectively got rid of Kosar all those years ago there were already signs that he was slowing down and the best years of his career were over. Brady still has 3-4 good years in him at the very least.

Re: Could Garropolo Take Brady's Job?

Well Favre still had a few years left when the Packers let some young gun by the name of Rodgers take the reins. 49ers moved on from Montana. Even the Pats moved on from Milloy Seymore Law ect. Brady will finish his career with another team maybe even the Jets or Bills. If Garropolo plays great those four games, I think this will be Brady's last year as a Patriot. It would be dumb to ****** Garropolo's development in favor of a QB that has 2 maybe 3 years left.

The better question is will Belichick revert back to his pre-Brady coaching ... meaning not good.

Zero percent chance of this happening, IMO. Tom Brady is still in my eyes the second-best quarterback in the league, and certainly Top 5 by any measure. He simply will play if available to do so.

History still marks that move as a huge mistake that was a big part of Belichick getting canned in Cleveland. I'm not sure I agree 100% with that, but I know the move didn't quite go as planned, that's for sure.
