The Panthers control their own destiny. The next three truly are winnable. If Carolina wins out and Atlanta loses to Green Bay, the Panthers win the division at 7-8-1. That tie might help out a lot!

EDIT: Well, New Orleans would need to lose one of their last three, too, and two of them are against fellow pathetic NFC South opponents, so that's no guarantee.

I'm still of the mindset that the winner of this division is actually losing out, because none of these teams have a shot at the Super Bowl, and they lose at least 6 or 7 spots on their draft pick

I hear you, but as a fan I'd rather see wins and a playoff appearance, even if it's a suicide quest.

That just saves them on the rookie reserve so they can spend all that money on free agents that want to come to Charlotte!

What's the point of losing the division when we'll draft a mediocre player no matter where we pick?
