Just another entry in the "Only the Browns" file.

Manziel will start. Since Davis' combination of a bad slide and taking forever at the line of scrimmage ended up costing them the game, I don't see how he starts again. Davis has little chance of beating Cincinnati, Manziel at least proved he can make at least one half interesting against Cincinnati.

I just don't get why sports media has to try to make everything have a personal story angle.

I wonder if production has a list of each player in the game with their life story summarized in one line.

Will Hill -- "played in arena football"
Terrance West -- "playing for hometown team"
etc

Funny, a few years ago the Ravens thought they had the game won against the Browns... half the team was already in the locker room after it appeared the Browns had missed a fg to tie the game.

After a VERY late review, the refs determined the ball went through the uprights and literally bounced off the base behind the uprights and then bounce back through the front to appear to not go through.

Ravens players had to get dressed again to come back out, it was crazy. Somehow these two teams have some of the craziest games imaginable (don't forget Barnidge's crazy td catch in the game earlier this year).
I was at that game. One of only two overtime games between these two teams, the other being the loss earlier this season. Looked like the third one would be happening last night, but we got a real college football ending instead.

Last night was entertaining if nothing else.

...because there is a personal story angle to everything? That's what makes Hard Knocks so great typically, the humanizing of some of these objects used in our fantasy football teams and playing for/against our favorite teams every week.

You talking about a particular game 8 years when they lost to a D-1AA team in the Big House when Michigan was supposedly the best team in the country?

And hard knocks allows those stories to be told over a certain length of time and it comes from the player's themselves.

The post game question is not that big of a deal, but the only personal story angle the interviewer knew comes from someone speaking in her earpiece that Will Hill previously played in arena football. So they worked that into the question simply to cross off "personal story" off the list.
