Tough game today. Really pleased as we kept grafting away. In years past this would have been 1-1.

Brighton had a great chance for a point but didn't have the finishing and made that one bone headed decision on the free kick and Liverpool made them pay.

For Liverpool it just seemed like all the attackers were a little off today, BHA crowding the box caused issues for sure but even the counter attacks the passing wasn't there. Still a good 3 points.

I'm not sure if it's a good or bad thing for Tottenham that they will be Liverpools first tough match.

^ Here's hoping we show up at Wembley this time. Revenge for last season's 4-1 drubbing.

Just watched PL Fanzone. Had to laugh at a twitter comment they put on the bottom of the screen.

Tom, South Africa - Richarlison sent off for Everton, Richarlimum and Richarlidad must be absolutely fuming.

That drubbing led to what Liverpool is today. Since then - best defensive record in the league. Since VVD came, he’s been involved in most clean sheets in the league (and that was before the 3 to start this year). I think it’s going to be a fantastic match. I respect Spurs right now more than any other side in the league outside City and maybe Chelsea depending on how they progress under Sarri.

Spurs and Liverpool are exactly alike I think. I don't understand why so many pundits say Liverpool are the clear favorites between the two.

Liverpool have more depth in attack, Spurs more depth in defense and pretty equal midfield depth I think.

I see those two being neck and neck all year. Too much attention is placed on the latest transfers and that changes predictions.
