Drawing shooting fouls for the USER is not as big an issue as long as defensive contact sliders are close to max and fouls are maxed out. I've tried a lot of things to help the CPU in this area....

The best thing about these sliders is open 3s are not 9/10 made shots. Very challenging, but fun.

Also I lowered Contest Shots in order to see more finishing at the rim and to see more jump shots...
