Re: ACQB M10: FAQ Thread

We need to decide how to handle the OVR stats (in terms of cap) for this offseason when resigning players. Last year it didn't matter, because we did it all before we advanced to next season and the guys progressed. This year, we have some options:

1. Never change the OVR for a player
2. Update the OVR's for the re-signed players to what it has been this season.
3. Progress everyone, then update the OVRs for the re-signed players.

I think common sense dictates either 2 or 3. Do we have a rule on this yet?

Yeah, 2 or 3 will be the way to go. I don't care either way... I think we did 2 last year. Either one would work.

yeah, we essentially did #2 last year. This was to allow people to start working on their moves while the playoffs were going on, and also because TM said it made sense because the contracts should be based on the way they performed in the past year. It might also be nice to inject some variability into a system where we know virtually everything about the players to a certainty.

For these reasons, #2 might be the best, but we would just have to make sure everyone did their signing/re-signing stuff before we advanced to the offseason.

Re: ACQB M10: FAQ Thread

I like 2 again. It helps us get done during the playoffs and creates the uncertainty. If more run and real to sign a guy before progression/regression and having to live with the results.

Re: ACQB M10: FAQ Thread

Yeah it only makes since to do all the overalls before progression.

Progression is supposed to reflect what happens to a player during the 7-month off-season, not something that happens immediately after the Super Bowl.
