It was a good move by both clubs IMO. For the Browns, they get a shot at getting a franchise qb in a strong qb draft. This is a qb driven league and you wont win without one. For the Colts, they get a rb with lots of potential and help take the pressure off of Luck.

Help me understand something, but first I do agree that it is a QB driven league. However, if this is the case with Indy - they already have there franchise QB - then they go out and get a RB to complete the puzzle.......My question is now, why couldn't the Browns do the same but just in the opposite order? They had there Franchise RB, and all they needed was the QB.....Call me dumb, but I just didn't understand that move.

WEEK 1:Browns fall to Dolphins 21-17


Coach Hulk spotted in Miami 5 minutes following there 21-17 defeat...

The Browns wanted to establish the run game early and that they did. Although on there first possession they went 3 and out, handing the ball to Trent on 2 out 3 attempts.

Miami scored on its first possession throwing a deep bomb to Mike Wallace for the walk in TD.

But the Browns told Trent to get ready for a long day, and that he did.

Breaking news...........Coach Hulk caught up with the Dolphins Coach


Hulk just wanted an explanation about Miami QB who stumbled on the ground while surrounded by 5 Browns defenders and while the QB was flopping around on the turf like a gold fish in an empty tank, the Miami QB managed to get up "UNTOUCHED" and throw a TD to a wide open WR in the endzone.....

Not to add..........Kicker Billy Cundiff missed 2 easy field goals from within the 35. I wanted to fire him on the spot, but due to "non-active" restrictions, it looks like I'm stuck with him. However, I know there is a way to get rid of cundiff - Ill just run a few fake fg while in the redzone and hope he gets hits so hard they break his back.....j/k, but seriously.

WEEK 2: Browns vs. Ravens

Injury Report Game Notes With the success of week one's rushing attack hopefully the Browns will face a lot of one on one coverage which should at least help them keep the game tight until the 4th quarter. Coach Hulk believes special teams will be a major factor in deciding the outcome of this week 2 match up.

WEEK 2: Brown lose "bite" in 2nd half as they fall to Ravens 37-21

Browns lose Trent Richardson to Injury after second carry of the game-things got hard quickly

After week ones peformance by sensational running back Trent Richardson who rushed for an amazing 204 yards in week 1 versus the Dolphins it was no oversight that the Ravens knew coming into this game that they would have to minimize the Browns ground attack.

As normal coach Hulk like to test the toughness of the opposing teams run defense and that he did as QB Brandon Weeden handed the ball of to Trent on the 1st possession of the game and he gained 9 yards up the middle. On second and inches the Browns would run a counter play to the left as Trent would then gain 11 yards.

Trent Richardson suffers injury
At this point the offensive line, coach and the fans are all smiles. But as the team is making their way back toward the huddle, they notice that they were short one player. Weeden turns slowly as with the anticipation that maybe Trent was subbed out only see his star player still on the ground surrounded by trainers. Trent suffered what appeared to be an Abdominal Tear. Trent would not return to the game.

In comes rookie running back Dennis Johnson out of Arkansas who experience a beating from the ravens defense. He would carry 11 times for only 24 yards and from that point we knew this game would have to be played extremely smart in order to keep things close.

Injury update
RB- Trent Richardson out for 2 weeks - Abdominal Tear

It would be a cat and mouse game in the 1st half. QB Brandon Weeden quickly noticed the difficulty in getting the ball to his wide outs. He had more defenders dropping back in coverage so with the absence of Trent there wasn't a need to play Eight in the box. With Josh Gordan the Browns number one receiver still serving his suspension made things a little one-dimensional.

Following Wednesday nights practice Defensive Coordinator Ray Horton was interviewed.

Coach Horton after coming off a brutal game last week against the Ravens and allowing Ray Rice to rush for over 140 yards what will be your approach this week facing future legend Adrian Peterson?

DC Horton
First let me say this. We all know what Adrian is capable of doing and if we continue to blow our assignments like we did against the Ravens then we will be in for another long day. So to answer your question, our approach will be getting back to the basics and fundamentals of the game.

So are you even concerned about the Vikings passing game?

DC Horton
Yes we are always concerned about every aspect of the game. We make it our business to take nothing for granted. However, I do feel that we match up well on the outside with Haden and Skrine versus the Vikings receivers.

Game Recap
Not much to say about this one except the Browns defense came to play, but as far as the offense, no one has a clue as to where they are now. Is Trent that valuable? It appears so. Joe Haden established his presence quickly as the Browns were so focused on stopping Peterson that it left 1 on 1 coverage on the outsides. The vikings were expecting that as they would test Haden back to back and Haden responded by Returning 2 interceptions for Touchdowns that gave the Browns a nice cushion going into half with a 24-14 lead.

As for Josh Gordan we knew that he would be rusty after coming off a 2 week game suspension for violation the substance abuse policy. However, the vikings were not taking any chances as the kept under and over coverage on him for most of the game. It wasn't until the 4th quarter that he scored on a 41 yards bomb from Weeden who narrowly escaped an outside blitzer. But it was too little to late as the Vikings would then control the clock until the end.
