Madden Suggestion: Make Kicking Harder on Sim Mode

To me, one of the most unrealistic "little things" about Madden every year is how ridiculously easy it is to kick field goals on default sliders even on All-Pro and All-Madden and even on Sim style.

With the focus of this year's game being player differentiation and X-Factors, differentiation among kickers has to matter. If Cody Parkey doesn't double doink, the Bears win a playoff game. If Chris Boswell didn't slip on a banana peel in Oakland, the Steelers make the playoffs. Justin Tucker can single handedly win games for the Ravens with his kick accuracy.

The game needs to reflect this. Maybe we can echo enough noise on social media to make something suggested happen:

1. Make kick difficulty sliders actually work to make kicking reasonably hard instead of just automatic make v. automatic miss.

OR

2. Allow for a "sim stats" kicking approach on Sim style. Under this approach a kicker would hit their true life percentages or a certain percentage of kicks from a certain distance based on their ratings. The way you could still keep a user skill mechanic would be to allow the "Perfect Kick" function on the meter to override a potential miss.

Last year there was a mod on PC that removed the arc and brought back the vibration indicator, which made kicking more difficult. Didn't do much for CPU though, but I can't wait for the Madden 20 version of that mod. It's really fun to use senses other than your eyes telling you exactly where the ball will land. I know it's not the same thing, but it still made kicking much more interesting.

I've been wanting this for so long. I guess I could technically go in and watch the play in Supersim on Slow speed, but if it's like Madden 19, you will sit there and wait for 30 seconds before the play is picked and a whole minute can run off the clock between plays with no penalty, and there is always the risk the Supersim doesn't even actually go for the field goal.

I think part of the problem too is that it hasn't been something sliders has been able to fix.
