Re: Bad SOTS bug

This is definetly a major bummer. Basically makes our hard work for the Starter Packs useless lol. Ah well i'm sure they will fix it.

did another test and added 550 and rebooted the game to find only 84 in the playlist. Looks like the game doesn't like anything over 510ish

Are you adding that many of your own music or are they songs from our packs? I just want to eliminate the possibility that it's something we did when we made them. Last year there was a problem with one of the audio editors we had used so I just want to eliminate every possibility no matter how unlikely.

I'm at work so I can't right now but someone should try and add 1000 mp3s that are unedited and make sure the problem still exists.

Re: Bad SOTS bug

Hey, everyone, this is disappointing. We obviously didn't have this issue during development as we tested the extremes. We will fix this for the first patch when we get back at it. Sorry for the inconvenience. Just wanted to let you know that we're now aware of the issue thanks to you guys and we will fix it.

ETA: The more details you can give us, the better. Maybe a step by step procedure to duplicate the issue.

Hey Steve!
Yes pretty easy to reproduce .
Step 1 - add music with USB roughly 1000 songs
Step 2 - add all 1000 tracks to the in game playlist.
Step 3 - exit sounds of the show and quit the game to the PlayStation menu
Step 4 - start the game again and go back to sounds of the show and notice that many of the added songs are now gone

Re: Bad SOTS bug

I haven't had the chance to get back into the game and see if my songs are still in there (I only imported about 80), but I had a different issue.

When I went in to edit the songs, I noticed that random songs had minutes of dead air at the end of them.

One song is really 5:30, was 6:14 in SOTS.
Another song is really 4:02, was 8:35 in SOTS. When I open the same files in iTunes they're 5:30 and 4:02, respectively.

(All the songs imported are mp3s).

I added some of my own along with yours and got the problem. I doubt the issue is tied only to your pack.
