Re: WWE Off-Topic

Him losing in the UFC makes it more reasonable for him to lose in the WWE. They've built him up to be the final boss, and if someone can beat him (anywhere for kayfabe) then he doesn't look as unstoppable.

Brock losing in the UFC is still a net positive for the WWE.

Because WWE is going to get mainstream press off of this too. Especially if Brock wins at 200 and then headlines or has a top match at Summerslam.

If Brock wins, it seems like a perfect time to do Reigns/Lesnar 2 unless they're saving that for down the road.

Everyone knows it's scripted, I don't think anyone other than the most loyal of fans has any idea of what type of physical toll being a pro wrestler has on the human body

Re: WWE Off-Topic

This sounds like Lesnar was angling for more money and they compromised on the UFC thing. There are a lot of PR possibilities with this especially if Lesnar wins his fight. In the long run though, Vince can say to Dana White that he allowed Brock to have a fight there so it should be reasonable to have Rousey at WM.

Either way, I wouldn't be surprised if this is the beginning of the end for Lesnar in WWE. He might have another mini run after this but it feels like WWE is trying to turn the page what with this new brand split and "new era" they're promising.

Everyone knows it's scripted. Doesn't mean that the mystique wouldn't be gone if he lost. We watch wrestling like it is a legit soap opera. Him losing in a fight would definitely bring him down a few notches. You can't call him "The Beast Incarnate........as long as it's scripted."

They most certainly can because they already did. He was coming off of two losses when he returned to WWE.

I would argue that was a different scenario because Brock had been gone for eight years. Fans were just happy to have him back. If it doesn't affect Brock and WWE if he loses, how come WWE has never talked about Brock losing three fights? They only bring up his wins.
